Ski passes, ski material and lessons

Lift passes can be brought from the village on arrival around € 60 per day. Available on-line or from office in the village centre or bottom of the lifts, Maiskogel ski lift, Lechnerberg ski lift and Kitzsteinhorn ski lift.

These ski schools also provide material. Alternatively material can be rented at Brundl Sports in the city centre. It is a busy period so recommend you book early for hire and lessons

Tafern is located up the village towards the castle and is a modern restaurant selling good quality food from pizzas to steak. Tel 6547 20428 www.tafern.at

Bella Casa or Kennidi  660 537 7446 ampere.at/cafe-bistro-kennidi/ in the village centre are great for pizza / pasta and excellent value €12 -15 …usually just drop in…5 min – 15 minute walk down the road from the apt toward the centre

Luis’ Gardens is a very contemporary place having higher-end food, with herbs, sprouts and salads growing in the indoor farm. It is located about a 10min walk along the main road to the centre. Tel 6547 20630 luisgardens.at

There are 2 supermarkets within 1 km of the Kitz in the village centre and a Billa over the main road almost opposite. During winter they are open on Sundays, but in low season they are closed.

Also you can drive to the big Maxi Market in Zell am See – Schüttdorf for a very broad range of items.

Ski Bus Shuttle
